1-1 Consultations
Life with a newborn can often be overwhelming, whether you’re a first time parent, or a growing family with a toddler or pre-schooler to work around. Sleep deprivation is also a real challenge, and you may not feel up to going to a public setting to learn how to carry your baby safely.
As a qualified Babywearing Consultant, I can provide specialist 1-1 support in your own home, and can bring my sling library to you for a private session with you and your baby, and perhaps also your partner.
Babywearing Events
Throughout 2026 you can find my Sling Surgery & Carrier Clinic at Bizzy's Toy Shop in Trentham Shopping Village, every other Thursday.

I also bring my sling library to Cherubs breastfeeding support groups throughout Cheshire East, including Nantwich, Sandbach & Congleton.

Your Birth Friend?
My name is Samantha Marie Allen, but most people call me Sam (the sling lady).
As a qualified Babywearing Consultant, trained with Carrying Matters, I can support you in learning to carry your baby or toddler safely and comfortably. I live in Keele, spend a lot of time in Nantwich, and can travel to Congleton & most parts of Cheshire, North Staffordshire or Market Drayton to help you. Whether it's a fit check on your own carrier, or advice on finding the best carrier for you and your baby or child, I can help you.
